Hi! I'm Michael

I am an award-winning brand and communications strategist based in Amsterdam. For over 10 years, I've been helping local and global brands grow. I have worked across categories and both on client-side and agency-side.

I am creatively-driven, insatiably curious about how and why people think, feel and do and have a keen interest in innovation. My work has been internationally awarded for its creativity as well as its effectiveness.

I firmly believe that brands should do as well as say, so in my portfolio you'll find both communications work and brand acts. This emphasizes how I try to solve the human problem first. This thinking has a wider application than just communications, but also seeps into products, services and other interactions people have with brands.
